Larvik is aimed at people with an active, sustainable lifestyle. It has a wide, airy toe box and is made to withstand long walks in both urban environments, as well as in the forests and mountains.
Larvik features Biosole, our new rubber sole that is mostly made of bio-based rubber. Using natural rubber leads to a significantly reduced climate impact and a reduced dependency on oil. This rubber compound is very durable, but what really makes Biosole stand out is that it stays soft even in low temperatures, giving you good grip throughout the year.
By introducing Follow the Footprints Icebug makes it easier for you and the rest of the footwear industry to make better material choices. By scanning the QR code that is available on all Icebug shoes and on all product pages here on icebug.com, you can easily see the entire manufacturing chain
In addition to minimizing our negative impact, we also overcompensate for our carbon dioxide emissions by 200 percent. We do this by investing in UN-certified projects that reduce greenhouse gases.
We at Icebug are serious about our climate work. We follow the UN's Climate Neutral Now initiative, measure the entire company's greenhouse gas emissions, and constantly change materials and processes to get a lower climate footprint. Our shoes will have a climate footprint lower than 6.4 kilos of CO2 per pair by 2030. Along the way, we share our materials and suppliers through our initiative for transparency, Follow the Footprints.
