Kids Camp
Bring your kids!
Icebug Xperience West Cost Trail is an event for the whole family, and our goal is that every kid will leave Bohuslän with an equal amount of excitement that you will feel. Therefore, we provide what we call Kids Camp while you run or walk the stages. The kids can try sailing, fishing and visit the wildlife park Nordens Ark – all under the supervision of experienced outdoor guides. The Kids Camp is made for kids aged 6-14 years. From 9:00-16:00 each day. Cost: 1 child 1500 SEK, 2 children 2500 SEK, 3 children 3500 SEK including all activities, lunch, snacks, and ice cream.
Kids Camp Schedule
The start and the end will be at Ramsviks camping every day. There will be six adults responsible for the Kids Camp group, who will split into two groups during some activities. Besides the lunch, the children will also be served fruit and beverages in the morning and afternoon and maybe an ice cream surprise.
FRIDAY – Excursion day
08:00-09:00 Welcome to Icebug Xperience: Get to know each other on the beach in the morning. 10:00 Bus to Excursion on Ramsvikslandet with hot dogs over the open fire for lunch and cheering on the adults who are running/walking. 14:00 Back at Ramsvik some beach soccer, beach volleyball, crab fishing, or swimming in the ocean 17:00 Kids Camp dinner (for the children staying at Ramsvik)
SATURDAY – Zoo day
07:00-09:00 Welcome, sign in. 09:30 Bus transport to the famous wildlife park Nordens Ark. 12:00 Lunch at Nordens Ark. 14:00 Bus back to Ramsvik for further activities at the beach. 17:00 Kids Camp dinner (for the children staying at Ramsvik)
SUNDAY – Kids Race and Sailing day
08:00-09:00 Welcome, sign in. 09:30 Bus to Sotefjorden Yatch Club: Our Kids camp leaders are some of the best sailors Sweden has to offer! They are very experienced with teaching children how to sail! If your child has sailed before they will sail in an Optimist on their own. If not, they will sail in slightly bigger boats with a sailing instructor! If the weather doesn’t allow sailing, we will stay on land with other activities. 11:30 Lunch at Sotefjorden Yatch Club. 13:00 Bus back to Ramsvik, get ready for Kids Race! 14:00 Kids Race (approx 2K and for the younger kids approx 1K). 15:00 Medal ceremony GOODBYE and see ya next year!
