Outsole:

Features Icebug’s RB9X™ compound with 22% FSC®-certified natural rubber and 15% recycled rubber, providing an optimal balance between grip and wear resistance.

Upper:

Constructed from a woven engineered fabric containing 50% recycled and GRS-certified polyester, 17% PET, and 33% TPU for durability and breathability.

Midsole:

Made with 66% Susterra—a corn-based e-TPU that delivers long-distance comfort and energetic rebound, comparable to traditional foams but with a lower environmental impact.

The name Järv comes from the Swedish word for wolverine—a bold and powerful creature known for its endurance and adaptability. Just like its namesake, the Järv RB9X is made to roam freely across rugged landscapes, excelling on everything from steep climbs to technical descents.

Icebug's New Addition Järv RB9X Awarded Scandinavian Sustainability Prize.

Icebug’s upcoming trail shoe, Järv RB9X, has received recognition even before its official launch. The Scandinavian Outdoor Sustainability Award, presented by the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) at the OutDoor by ISPO fair in Munich, honors Järv for its efforts to reduce the use of new oil in shoes while maintaining top performance and durability.

Traditional running shoes are largely made from fossil-based materials. To reduce the carbon footprint of their shoes, Icebug is committed to minimizing oil usage in favor of natural and recycled materials. This initiative is now gaining recognition in the industry.
