Eide ReWool Biosole

Made from recycled fabric waste

Eide ReWool Biosole is not only a nice everyday shoe. Thanks to natural and recycled materials, it’s also a shoe that points towards the future.

The best thing about Eide is it is largely made from recycled materials. The felted wool upper is made from wool scraps from the Swedish Woolpower undergarment factory. The rest of the shoe is made from recycled plastic waste and abandoned fishing nets, among other things.

Cozy warmth for spring evenings and cool during summer days

Wool is a fantastic material; it keeps you warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot. This, combined with a good grip, makes the Eide Biosole a versatile shoe that is perfect to wear from early spring to late autumn.

Natural comfort

Eide ReWool Biosole is very popular for its unbeatable comfort. It's made with Icebug's BUGforce energy-returning midsole. BUGforce midsoles are also used in Icebug's most comfortable running shoes. The midsole contains Bloom Foam, a foam made with recycled algae, restoring ecosystems and cleaning water and air.

Natural grip

Eide comes with an outsole made of Icebug's material, Biosole. It contains a large portion of natural rubber instead of oil-based rubber. The Biosole rubber compound stays soft in all temperatures and provides a good grip year-round. The natural rubber in the soles is FSC-certified and is purchased by Icebug from sustainably managed forests in Thailand.
